Biography

Dr. Navneet Kaur

Dr. Navneet Kaur is a Periodontist, Academician, Researcher, Author, and Editor based in Punjab, India. She currently serves as a Reader in the Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology at National Dental College and Hospital, Derabassi, Punjab. Her academic specialisation includes Periodontology and Oral Implantology.

She completed her BDS in 2007 and MDS in Periodontology and Oral Implantology in 2016, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Dental Sciences at Desh Bhagat University. She has more than eight years of academic teaching experience and has been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education, research mentorship, and scientific training.

Dr. Kaur has contributed to more than 80 national and international research publications and has authored eight academic books. She has also undertaken various editorial and peer-review responsibilities for medical and dental journals and has reviewed numerous scholarly articles.

Her professional contributions have been recognised through several academic and professional awards, including Cureus Laureate recognitions, the Outstanding Research Award in Periodontics, the Young Teacher of the Year Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award in the Field of Education in 2026. She has also participated as a scientific session chair, guest lecturer, and international speaker at various academic and professional forums.

Her academic interests and professional vision focus on advancing dental research, strengthening scientific education, encouraging evidence-based practice, and supporting the development of future dental professionals through research, innovation, and academic mentorship.
