Dr. Mustafa Kahtan Sameen Al-Bayaty is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Molecular and Medical Biotechnology, College of Biotechnology, Al-Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry, an MSc in Inorganic Chemistry, and a BSc in Chemistry Science. His academic and research interests include clinical biochemistry, clinical and medical chemistry, biomarkers, molecular biology, toxicology, pharmaceutical chemistry, nanotechnology, drug design, oxidative stress, and in-silico evaluation of biologically active compounds. He has experience in university teaching, scientific research, medical and research laboratory work, academic administration, undergraduate research supervision, and peer-review and editorial activities. He has taught several biomedical and chemical sciences, including biochemistry, clinical chemistry, medical chemistry, molecular biology, toxicology, forensic chemistry, and hematology. He currently also serves as an Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Medical Science and Dental Health (IJMSDH).
